Mary Louise started doing this clapping thing at some point a few years ago. It usually means that she is furious that no one is paying her any attention. When this happens and I'm working or reading or trying to focus on something playing on tv, I can only ignore it for so long before I have to give in and love her. I don't know where she gets this attention-whore thing.
I LOVE this!! Our Hannah is sooo quiet and I sometimes wish she was more...communicative. I was talking to her and looking at her on one of our car rides Sunday and I thought she looked like she was just about to say something but, she didn't. I wish she would! (Wish granters, I do not mean barking, whining, & whimpering, 24/7. I mean, I wish she'd say in English, "I'm good/hungry/thirsty/bored & E's good, Mom. Thanks for asking.")
